Pros: I am no doctor, nor do I have medical knowledge, but I believe this works. Although I eventually got golfer's elbow with this on, it took much longer to achieve this pain.

Cons: When you sweat, it can slip. White plastic on your arm is distracting.

Did a lot of research on fixing my golfer's elbow, this was the device recommended in my price range and I would recommend as well.

As a computer programmer, I spend many hours a day at the keyboard. A change in office furniture 20 years ago resulted in a really bad case of 'tennis elbow'. While I have had some luck with adjusting keyboard height and angle, too much damage was done to ever fully recover from it. I have used the cloth 'strap' types of elbow support for 20 years, with ever increasing frustration. Either they slide down my arm, the velcro stops sticking even when cleaned out, causing it to constantly come undone, or the velcro gets stuck to the sleeve material. And the pain never quite goes away.

That said, I can't say enough good things about this unit. For the first time, I am actually pain free the entire time I wear this. It stays in place and the velcro strap does not catch in my clothing. I highly recommend it to others who suffer from too much typing. Do make every attempt to make your workplace ergonomically correct, but if you are like me and it is too late to undo the damage, buy this product!

I was trying to find a replacement for the strap my doctor gave me for Tennis Elbow which has inserts to press against the tendon and works very well. However the "Band-It" product does not help my tennis elbow at all, I believe because it does not have the insert.

From the picture, it appeared the BandIT had that little bump that is so important in tennis elbow braces. It doesn't. As a result, I have found it useless, in that I will never use it.
